Ca Calbet is located in the center of the village of Margalef. The house was built in 1570 and is constructed with rustic wooden beams and stone, the entrance is tastefully decorated with antique farm tools, which gives the house an authentic rural feel, whilst maintaining a cozy warm environment. Amenities for guests to enjoy their stay include air conditioning, heating and Internet access. Ca Calbet has two dining areas for small or large groups and contains a vast array of magazines, brochures and books, relating to the Priorat for your enjoyment, or you may want to play the various board games available, watch TV or listen to your favorite music on your computer.
Rosa Marie the host of Ca Calbet aspires to give provide a genuine Spain atmosphere, and enjoys chatting with patrons and advising or planning excursions and activities. Rosa Marie prides herself in her cooking and prepares delicious meals including vegetarian/vegan cooking at request, please let us know at the time of booking. We cater for a special occasion and provide a la carte dining. We also provide the finest wines – see wine list DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant.
